   Dear Lucid,

   the search on SMB data source works.

   When i click on the SMB link in the result page, the document metadata page opens, instead of the actual document

   Link is: http://search/collections/.../document?id=smb://...doc

   Is there a configuration or a document to explain the configurtion to open directly the document?

   LW does not include link referrals to the original document. You have to create your own UI to make this happen.

   Please note that in the specific case of SMB, there is no way for the LucidWorks UI to know/assume that the end user will be able to directly access the SMB shares at all - let alone using the same hostname (The SMB server may be reachable from the server LucidWorks is running on, but not the client machine where the user is using the UI in their browser)

   I understand your point. However, you could make this configurable or could you tell me which ruby file I need to touch to make a simple replace from smb://<host> to \\<host> ?
